Privacy at IPULS

This Privacy Policy explains how IPULS collects, uses, shares, and protects information across our autonomous skill intelligence platform, including assessments, coding arenas, AI interviews, labs, cyber ranges, certifications, proctoring, and talent intelligence workflows.

Types of information we collect online

We collect information you provide directly, information generated while you use IPULS, and limited technical information needed to operate secure assessments and enterprise learning workflows.

  • Account and contact information such as name, email address, organization, role, and communication preferences.
  • Assessment, coding, lab, interview, mission, certification, and skill graph evidence created during platform use.
  • Proctoring and trust signals such as session activity, tab changes, screen-sharing indicators, device environment checks, face detection, and voice anomaly signals when enabled by an organization.
  • Usage, device, browser, log, and diagnostics data that help us secure, operate, debug, and improve the service.

Information you provide

You may provide information when creating an account, joining an assessment, submitting code, answering interview questions, completing labs, contacting support, or requesting an enterprise demo.

  • Profile details and organization identifiers used to assign the correct assessment, academy, or hiring workflow.
  • Responses, submissions, files, video, audio, text, code, prompts, and project artifacts you choose to submit.
  • Support messages, demo requests, feedback, and other communications with IPULS.

Information collected automatically

Like most web services, IPULS collects operational data automatically. In high-integrity workflows, we may also collect session telemetry needed to protect the validity of assessment results.

  • IP address, browser type, approximate location, pages viewed, referring URLs, timestamps, and performance logs.
  • Security events, authentication events, and session integrity signals used to detect abuse or suspicious activity.
  • Cookies or similar technologies used for authentication, preferences, analytics, and service reliability.

How we use your information

We use information to deliver IPULS services, generate skill evidence, secure evaluation sessions, support enterprise customers, and improve our product experience.

  • Create, administer, score, review, and report on assessments, AI interviews, labs, missions, certifications, and academy programs.
  • Produce skill graphs, readiness reports, proctoring trust scores, hiring recommendations, and workforce intelligence where configured.
  • Operate, secure, troubleshoot, personalize, and improve IPULS products and user workflows.
  • Communicate about product updates, support, security notices, demos, and service administration.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only where needed to provide IPULS, comply with law, protect the platform, or support customer-directed workflows.

  • With the organization, institution, recruiter, employer, or enterprise customer that invited you to an IPULS workflow.
  • With service providers that help us host, secure, analyze, support, and operate the platform under appropriate confidentiality obligations.
  • When required by law, legal process, or to protect IPULS, our users, customers, or the public.

Security and retention

IPULS applies administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information and preserve the integrity of skill evidence.

  • Access controls, encryption in transit, monitoring, logging, and environment controls for platform operations.
  • Retention periods based on account status, customer instructions, legal requirements, security needs, and service operations.
  • Deletion or de-identification where information is no longer needed for the purposes described in this policy.

Your choices and rights

Depending on your location and relationship with IPULS, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of certain personal information.

  • For organization-managed workflows, the inviting customer may be the primary controller of your data and may need to handle certain requests.
  • You can contact IPULS for privacy questions, account requests, or security concerns at hello@ipuls.ai.
  • You can manage some cookie, browser, and communication preferences through your browser or account settings where available.

International use, children, and updates

IPULS may process information in countries where we, our customers, or service providers operate. IPULS is not intended for children under 13 unless provided through an authorized educational or institutional program.

  • When we update this policy, we will revise the effective date and provide additional notice when required.
  • If you use IPULS through an institution or employer, additional notices or agreements may also apply.
